Historic Dodge City Santa Fe Depot completed in 1898 housed a Fred Harvey Hotel and the “El Vaquero” dining room. The largest Rail Depot building in Kansas renovated to the period of the 1920s. This magnificent building must be seen to be appreciated. The Historic Santa Fe Depot is open year round Monday through Friday, during regular business hours. Guided tours are offered through by appointment only the Depot Theater Company (620-225-1001).
